The small components that make a big difference. KEL Distribution supplies a complete range of profiled foam fillers, sealing tapes and gun-grade sealants to keep profiled roofs and façades weathertight, airtight and pest-resistant, backed by practical advice on the right product for each detail.

Profiled Foam Fillers

Use at: eaves, ridge, verge, hips/valleys, rooflight perimeters and around penetrations.

• Profile-matched foam fillers (closed-cell) in black or white, supplied as pairs/singles; optional self-adhesive backing.
• Vented/“notched” ridge fillers to maintain airflow while blocking birds/insects.
• Lengths: typically 1 m pieces; bespoke lengths/profile cuts available.

Tapes

Designed for fast, consistent sealing of laps, joints and interfaces.

• Butyl lap tapes: single or double bead, high-tack, for side-laps, end-laps, gutters and flashings. Common widths from ~6–50 mm, thickness ~1–6 mm, in boxed rolls.
• Expanding foam tapes: pre-compressed joint seals for trims/flashings and façade interfaces; help resist driving rain and accommodate movement.
• EPDM/butyl flashing tapes: Foil-faced options for penetrations and perimeter details.
• Foam closure tapes: compressible PE tapes to fill irregular gaps and reduce dust ingress.

Sealants (Gun-Grade)

For joints where tapes aren’t suitable or where extra flexibility is needed.

• Low-modulus neutral-cure silicone: non-staining; ideal for coated steel, aluminium and GRP rooflights.
• MS polymer hybrids: high grab, paintable, excellent UV/weather resistance; great for mixed-material interfaces.
• PU adhesive/sealants: structural bonding where higher strength is required (check substrate compatibility).
• Intumescent/acoustic sealants: for internal fire-stopping lines and acoustic edges (spec-dependent).
